I grew up primarily in New Orleans, however, since my father was employed by the U.S. Corps of Engineers, we moved whenever he was assigned to a new project. Then, I became an Air Force wife and the moving continued. I have lived in 12 states, some more than once, and have made countless moves. Now we have retired from the Air Force and are happy to call Illinois home. With the moving behind us and the kids leaving the nest, I've turned my attention to a "second career" with Century 21, Bailey &Co.

Real estate is a calling for me because I understand so well the challenges that come with uprooting a home. As I made all those moves, with pets and children in tow, I learned that it is not just about changing your address, it’s more because it's not just a house that’s involved, it's your home - that "happy place" where loved ones gather and where memories are made.

One last thought: I am a devoted animal lover and have adopted a sweet natured Australian Shepherd named Calico.
